Touring Akko and Rosh Hanikrah


The first stop of the day will be Akko. In this ancient city we will visit the Tunisian Synagogue and get a tour of the old city, discussing the role of crusaders and also Napoleon in the history of the city. After lunch, we travel north to Rosh Hanikrah, which is on the border between Lebanon and Israel on the northern shore of the Mediterranean Sea. It's a place that has a beautiful view and a rich history and also plays an important role in today's political and military issues.

Ramat Hagolan Adventure! 


Join us for a day trip where we will visit many interesting places like Mitzpe Gadot viewpoint and Kfar Hatalmudi (talmudic villeage) in Katzrin, capital of the Golan. We will also have a kayak adventure on the Jordan River to welcome the summer!

Cultural event: learning about the issue of 
African refugees in Israel
Conference and discussion with a refugee and guided walk through south Tel Aviv. 
This tour of south Tel Aviv, is part of a series of a couple of excursions that we will organize for you guys, dealing with complicated political, social and societal issues in the Israeli society. The goal of these trips is for you to understand the complexity around these issues. The people we're going to see and talk will represent their story. We invite you to grapple with the issues, ask difficult questions and try to understand all the sides of the stories.

Shavuot Picnic!

Shavuot celebrates the giving of the Torah by G-d to Moses on Mount Sinai , the feast of first fruits and the first fruits of the season and the harvest. It is also a religious and agricultural holiday which among its customs are to eat dairy products. 

Maslul Ishi will celebrate this Jewish holiday by having a Picnic at Hayarkon park

Maslul Ishi Day Trip to Jerusalem

Immerse yourself in the history of Israel's capital! 

We will first visit the Mount of Olives, where we will enjoy a beautiful view of Jerusalem. Then we will visit the Davidson Archaeological Center, where we will see the diggings and a virtual model of the Second Temple constructed by the King Herodes, well have lunch and go to the Kotel. After lunch we will tour Mishkenot Shaananim, the first Jewish neighborhood built outside the walls of the old city. Last, we will walk the walls that surround the old city (Tayelet Hachomot).

Aliyah Informative Activity


Join us for an Aliyah day in Jerusalem! We will visit the Ulpan Etzion absorption center for young adults, take a tour, meet students and learn about the rights of Aliyah from a representative of the Jewish Agency, and of the Ministry of Absorption. Then we will visit the Hebrew University where a representative of the Student Authorities will give us a tour and explain our Aliyah stud

Day Trip to the Negev

In April we will learn about the Negev, it's habitants and history. Our first stop will be to the burial place of the first Prime Minister of Israel, David Ben Gurion, who declared the Independence of the State of Israel and fought for the development of the Neguev. Then we will take a walk through the Ein Ovdat National to enjoy its beauty. The trip will end with a Bedouin experience: we will visit "Chan Hashaiarot", enjoy typical Bedouin food, learn about the traditions of this minority and take a camel ride.

Touring the Galilee

In this opportunity we will tour the area of the Galilee. Our visit will be around the Kinneret, the Arbel Mountain and the city of Zfat. We will first visit the Kinneret Cementary where famous people like the songwriter Rachel and Nomi Shemer are buried and learn about the creation of the Kibbutzim of the area during the 2da Aliah. Then we will travel to the Arbel Mountain, a beautiful place which hides caves that tell the history of the period when Herode and the Hashmonaim fought for the government of Judea. To regain our strength, we will have lunch at Kibbutz Guinosar and to finalize our day, we will visit the Kabalistic City of Tzfat.

Guided tour of the history of Tel Aviv
   
We decided to create this special opportunity for many of the participants to learn about the city where they live. We will do a guided walk through the old city of Tel Aviv, talk about how it was and founded and learn about it's special place in the history of Israel, which will be run by Shai. Tel Aviv is a wonderful, metropolitan city known as "little Manhattan" thanks to its fun night life and non-stop action. What is hidden to many is the city's historical treasures!

This month we will travel to the North of Israel and enjoy the wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea. We will visit the Cesarea National Park, Zichron Yaakov, a Druze Village and the city of Haifa.

MASA Mega Event

We will participate in the annual MASA Mega Event, an exciting activity which includes panel discussions with some of the best Israeli dancers, writers and singer and a concert by the famous Israeli singer "Mooki". The Maslul Ishi participants will attend the following workshops:

Group Volunteer Event for Purim

 
With Purim coming up, one of the most significant holidays for children, on Tuesday, February 12 we will be taking part in a group volunteer event and create colorful Purim costumes for disabled children.
